One Year since the Typhoon

I was able to participate Saturday in some of the activities for the one year anniversary of the typhoon that changed everyone’s lives here in Tacloban.  There were activities all throughout the day starting around 4am until well into the night hours.  I was not part of the early rising group that did both a run and a walk in the am hours, but did spend time enjoying afternoon and evening activities.  Although the pictures will not do it justice and I don’t have pictures to document all the amazing things I was a part of I will post a few things here to give you an idea of what it was like to spend this monumental day here.  Will leave you speechless to experience something this somber and marvelous at the same time.
